The Heist

The Heist is a top-down 3d game where you play as a thief and his son trying to steal technology from a big corrupt tech company called Devison Corp. which uses highly advanced holographic defense systems and robots to attack you, while you hack into their delivery system and load what you steal to your ship.

To do this you have several abilities:

• You have a blast pistol that can destroy a robot immediately but it has low ammo.
• You can use an EMP to short-circuit the robots and uncover which are holograms and which are not.
• Also, you can pick up objects around the room and use them to block the doors from where the robots are coming from for a while until they break the barricade.

How can you play?

• Use the Arrow Keys to move in all directions.
• Use the Space Bar to shoot the enemies.
  
• Use C to activate the EMP.
• Use X to pick up objects and hold them until you wish to release them.
• Use X when over the delivery pads to hack them and call for the items your son is asking for.

A tip: try to block as many doors as you can, so you don't end up drowning in enemies and keep using the EMP to know which ones are real and shoot them down. 

This game was made in one week for the Brackeys 2022.2 Game JAM which has the theme: "It's not real". We hope as many people as possible can enjoy it and we plan to keep working on it if it calls the right attention.
